Friday Evenings, 6:30 pm — College and Career Bible Study and Fellowship — College & Career Bible Study at the Swenson’s home (168 Columbia Way, Cedar City). Join us as we study God’s Word! Contacts are Tate Williams (592-3592) and Bryant Swenson, Sr. (867-5437).

Tuesday mornings — 10:00 am – 12:00 Noon — Church Fellowship Hall.
Tuesday evenings — 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. — Marty S's. home.
Thursday evenings — 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. — Nancy L's. home.
Please put your names on the sign-up sheets on the bulletin board upstairs in the foyer as soon as possible if you plan to attend the study. There are a few books left ($15.00 each). See Tammy O. to pay your money and get your book.February 8th, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Cedar High School Ceramics “Super Bowl” Monday, Fund Raiser at Cedar High for Loaves & Fishes Soup Kitchen at First Baptist Church. $10 donation requested for a hand-made ceramic bowl by a High School student, filled with soup or chili with a bread roll and dessert. ALL proceeds go to the Soup Kitchen. Contact Kim M with questions.
Monday, February 8th at 6:00 pm VBS planning meeting — Our first MEETING will be in the Fellowship Hall for ALL VBS workers. If you would like to help in Vacation Bible School (VBS) June 7-11 (and you haven’t already been contacted by Janet J.), please give her a call.

Saturday, February 13th, 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall at the Church —Adult Couples Valentine’s Banquet, $10 per couple. Child care to be provided. Sunday, February 14th — Annual “MISSIONS MARCH” SPECIAL OFFERING — $810 of our Church’s $8,000 goal has been collected so far.
Beginning Sunday Evening, February 14th, 6:30 pm – “The Truth Project” video series from “Focus On The Family” with 12 lessons that are an in-depth Christian World-View Experience.
Friday, February 26th, 6:30 pm and Saturday, February 27th, 9:00 am — Sunday School Teachers Training –in the Fellowship Hall at the Church, with Brunch. Contact Jerry Lenox at 867-4938 with questions.
April 23rd and 24th! IMAGINE! “Women of Faith” will be in Las Vegas If we have a group of 10 or more, we can get each ticket for $89.00. If you are interested in attending, please sign-up on the sheet on the bulletin board in the foyer, and contact Tammy O. A.S.A.P. as the discount is for a limited time only.

Campbell soup labels — Please continue saving your Campbell soup labels so we can help the Columbian Basin Baptist Association’s ministries purchase a van for education. Help us work toward the drive goal of 1.6 million labels. A collection box for the labels is on the table below
the “Red Hills Ladies” bulletin board downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.Choral Ministry — Are you an Adult (age 18 and older) with an interest to a commitment in choral ministry? Group rehearsals will begin shortly after January 15, 2010. For more information, please contact Mike Poston (867-5281).

Church Secretary — Elaine is the Church Secretary. Please email bulletin announcements to secretary@redhillssbc.org or by phone at 865-7068. Announcements need to be received NLT 10:00 am each Thursday. Elaine's hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
CONSTRUCTION LOAN — Contributions are always welcome to help pay down the cost of the construction loan used to add seating to the sanctuary.
Contributions towards our building fund, Deacons’ fund, Youth, etc. may be given at any time by indicating what it is for on your check and/or envelope.
CRACKER DONATIONS — Our Nursery Department is asking for cracker donations in order for our kids to have a snack during church time. Please drop them off in the Bed Baby Room. Contact Michelle S. with questions.
Current Church Membership Directory — Those wanting a copy of the latest Resident Church Members’ List may contact Elaine at the church office.
Deacons Fund — Contributions to the Deacons Fund may be made at any time by indicating on your check or envelope. These funds are used to assist church members in time of need.
Food Collection Boxes have been placed around the Church for canned goods and staples for the “Loaves and Fishes” ministry at First Baptist Church. The C.i.A. kids are asking adults to help with this collection for the hungry and homeless in our community. Thank You! All donations are greatly appreciated!
HOPE PREGNANCY CENTER– Please see the table with information in our Fellowship Hall downstairs. Take a baby bottle, fill it with your money contributions, and return it to Kim M, Lee L, or the Church Office. If you would like a tax receipt for your donation, fill out the green form and wrap it around the baby bottle before returning it. Any questions may be referred to Kim or Lee. If you shop at Albertson’s, you can request that a percentage of your total purchase go to help the Hope Pregnancy Center.
Lottie Moon Offering and our York-Dillman State Missions Offering — See the posters and information on our upcoming Lottie Moon Offering and our York-Dillman State Missions Offering on the bulletin board in the foyer. These offerings are a portion of our annual “Missions March” Offering. Contributions to these offerings can be given anytime during the year. Note on check/envelope for Lottie Moon Offering or York-Dillman Offering.
“Meals in Need” — Premade frozen meals for the freezer downstairs in the Church are needed. If anyone is interested in participating in this ministry, contact Sarah O. Those wishing to help Cindy, Mark and Nick with meals, visits and possibly other needs, let Sarah know.

Old Bulletins — Those wishing to look at copies of old bulletins, please check the binder in the church office.
Parking — Please park your vehicles on the asphalt in the church parking lot rather than in the dirt or gravel. The Hitching Post across the street has graciously allowed us to use their lot. Please, DO NOT park near the front of their building.
Pre-School Department needs short Christian videos. Contact Lorene M. if you have some you’d like to loan/donate.

Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child — The deadline is coming up soon so be sure to start getting ready to fill those shoe boxes now! See the posters on the bulletin boards in the foyer and downstairs in the Fellowship Hall, and the brochure on gift suggestions and how to pack a shoe box on the “Red Hills Ladies” table in the Fellowship Hall. CHILDREN’S CHURCH/ACTIVITIES

Children’s Church (formerly K.R.O.C.) meets during am Worship Service for kids K – 3rd grades in the Youth Building. Sunday School teachers to escort their children to the Youth Building when Sunday School ends. Parents are to pick up their children from the Youth Building after Worship Service. Children’s Choir practices every Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:15 pm. until the performance. Choir will be immediately followed by C.i.A. from 6:15 – 7:30 pm.
